Radio Foxhunting

Radio Foxhunting (Radio Direction Finding) is a cross-country running sport, demanding physical and mental fitness. Similar to orienteering, however requires more electronic preparations. Great sport for people of any ages. Perfect to develop physical strength, analytical thinking and radio knowlegde.

Typical foxhunting event takes place in the woods/national parks. Competitors, equipped with the detailed topographic map, compass, and radio receiver, searches for hidden radio transmitters(foxes). The goal is to find hidden foxes as quickly as possible. The time from start to finish is recorded.

Often is more difficult talk about ARDF than try it out !
